Rowena was back in bright and early to mount and hang her piece, she also added a few embellishments and drawings. The added lines and shapes, and the way Rowena chose to mount the works really complemented the theme and expanded the piece into the space.
Then we had Rowena’s colleague Karen in printing up her very intricate etching.

Ashling also added beautiful washes to her little figures.
In the afternoon we had the ‘Art Defected Group’ a collection of recent arts management, textile, art history, fine art and design students in to give their perspectives of a ‘No Man’s Land’ through relief prints.
Wonderful relief prints making full use of the beautiful marks created by the technique. Thanks so much to all involved.
An added treat today was a visit from Henk VanderKamp, Head of Spacial Planning at DIT, he thought he was just coming in to see what we had done but we had other plans!! and in the little while he was here he produced two beautiful monoprints based on no man’s lands in the city.
